When the blogger's late parents were young and driving around North America, they stopped at places like these for gas and food. They sure were a lot homier than WalMart Super Centers.

    Did the blogger's late parents ever travel to Washington State? My mom and pop actually ran one of these gas stations in Federal Way, WA, in the '40s! http://veggieboomer.wordpress.com/random/.
