Every time you've heard the song, you've wondered, "Hmm, just where is Tobacco Road?" The blogger has solved the mystery. Tobacco Road is within the boundaries of Westmoreland State Park near Montross, Virginia.

  1. How lame. Robt. Mitchum sang "Thunder Road." Nashville Teens (among others) sang "Tobacco Road."

If you wish to pose as a know-it-all, then you shouldn't rely on bogus websites for your information. Also, your boring narritives are tedious and self-aggrandizing. Who cares?

  2. Comment is correct regarding Tobacco vs. Thunder roads and Mr. Mitchum's recording, which is along for the trip and could have prevented the error. The blogger has been justifiably chastised for his off-the-top-of-the-head mistake and is contrite. But if this comment isn't a case of the pot calling the kettle black, the blogger doesn't know what is. The blogger thought he was laying the irony, self-deprecation and mock importance of his posts on thick enough for those intentions not to be missed. Evidently, the blogger has failed in that effort, at least as far as this comment is concerned.
